September 21 - 22, representatives of the International Association "Eurostrategy" took part in the International Conference "Improving the Integrity of Organic Supply Chains". The conference was held with the support of the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL), the GfRS, the Agro-Eco-Institute of Louis Bolka in cooperation with the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM).
The purpose of the event: strengthening and expanding the export of Ukrainian organic products to Western Europe and the United States.
The Anti-Fraud Initiative (AFI) serves as a platform for European market players aimed at strengthening the trade in organic products by providing cross-border dialogue among supply chain representatives. Participants had the opportunity to meet with traders from Western Europe, representatives of certification bodies and representatives of state bodies of Ukraine and the countries of the European Union, as well as to take part in the discussion of opportunities that provide reliability and confidence in the export of organic products from Ukraine to Western European markets. Similar seminars have already been successfully held in Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United States of America and were highly appreciated by market participants. The last seminar was organized in Ukraine in 2015.
Representatives of 12 countries of the world -international importers, traders, feed producers, organic farmers, exporters and other market participants from Ukraine, certification bodies working in Ukraine, representatives of ministries and other public authorities of Europe and the USA took part in the conference.
